A NARUHINA STORY

CHAPTER 1:

A certain blonde boy was wearing a black and orange suit with a big red swirl on the jacket's back, a forehead protector, and blue ninja shoes.  And he was busy training by himself at the old training grounds that He, Kakashi, Saskue, and Sakura used to train at when they were little. He was practicing with his Shadow Clones on his speed, agility, and kunai training. His name was Naruto Uzumaki and he was well known in the infamous Village Hidden In The Leaves. He was head-strong, rebellious, impatient, and quite an idiot most of the times. But he was very reliable if you needed any help with anything.
"HA! Is that all you got?!" The real Naruto grinned cockily at his clones as he hopped on a nearby tree branch.
"NO WAY!!!" His clones yelled running straight towards him ninja style.
Not soon after, all of the Shadow Clones started to attack the real Naruto Uzamaki at once. But Naruto was ready for them. He quickly started to punch and kick at them, making some of them poof away out of existence. Naruto also started to throw his kunai and shurikens at his duplicates making them all disappear in an instant. After he had defeated all of his Shadow Clones, Naruto smiled widely at his success.
"Alright! I'm totally getting stronger!" Naruto grinned as he scratched the back of his head. He suddenly clenched fists and fire ignited in his blue eyes. "Yeah! And this time, Saskue's gonna lose Dattebayo!"
As the blonde was loathing in his confidence and how he was going to beat Saskue, he was completely unaware of a shadowy figure close by hiding in the shadows of the trees.


A dark blue haired girl wearing a purple and white jacket, pale blue pants, a forehead protector laced around her neck that had the Leaf Village symbol on it, and black ninja shoes. Her name was Hinata Hyuuga and she really liked Naruto. She was very shy and scared to talk to him directly, so that's why she would just watch him where she couldn't be seen. Hinata watched Naruto as he summoned more Shadow Clones and started to train more. She gave a tiny smile as she blushed lightly on her cheeks.
'Naruto-kun…' Hinata thought as she kept on looking at the blonde boy train.
Hinata saw how he was getting stronger each day which made her very proud and very determined to follow her own ninja way.
"You truly are getting stronger each day…" She whispered as she watched him with loving and caring eyes.
"HA HA HA! You guys are soo slow!" The real Naruto teased. "Catch me if you can!" And he suddenly blew a raspberry at them and slapped his butt in a teasing kind of way.
"YOU'RE GOING DOWN!!!" His Shadow Clones yelled angrily at him and started to chase him deeper into the woods.


Naruto laughed manically as he was being chased by his Shadow Clones deeper into the Leaf Village's forests. He was hopping from tree to tree very hastily so he wouldn't be caught.
"COME BACK HERE AND TAKE YOUR BEATING LIKE A MAN!!!" One of his clones shouted as they were gaining on him.
"Ya gotta catch me first!" Naruto teased as he started to advance faster in the trees.
All of a sudden, Naruto found himself breaking through the canopies and soaring high into the air. He looked down to see a whole bunch of ponds everywhere and bamboo shoots poking out of them as well.
"What the… Heck…?" Naruto asked himself as he stared at the ponds, soaring in midair as well.
"HA! GOTCHA!" One clone said as he punched the real Naruto in the face. Naruto was suddenly hurtled into one of the ponds causing a big splash to happen as he made contact with the water.
"YEEOW!!!" He screamed as he jumped out of the cold pool. 'Oh that's cold!' He thought as he closed his eyes and shook out his hair. But when he opened them back up, he found out that the world suddenly seemed bigger to him.
'Huh? What the hell happened to me?' Naruto tried to say but he ended up saying 'Meow!' instead. Naruto looked around and saw that his clothes were still in the pool he fell in and floating around.
'And why are my clothes still in the water?' He thought as he walked over there. But once he looked into the pool, he couldn't believe his eyes. He had turned into and all orange cat! Sure he still had his human eyes but his whole body looked like a cat's! Naruto looked at his hands, and realized they weren't hands anymore, they were cat paws!
'GAH!!!' Naruto wanted to scream but ended up howling "MEEOW!"
"Ah, I see you've tampered with the sacred ponds young man…" A voice said behind the newly transformed Naruto Uzumaki.
He quickly whipped around to see and old lady with a brown wooden cane with short gray hair, wearing a green turtle kimono with a traveling bag on her back.
"These ponds are special ponds young man; these ponds carry lost souls that have drowned long ago…" She rasped looking at the various ponds with glassy brown eyes.
'Really?!' Naruto meowed with his eyes widened.
"Yes indeed my boy." She replied smiling at him with a few teeth missing.
'Wow… Wait a minute, how can you understand me?!' Naruto yelled in cat language.
"I know a lot of things boy… Don't underestimate old woman when you see them…" She said grinning.
Naruto was suddenly getting creeped out by this lady, and was about to run when she stopped him saying:
"You know the pond you fell in boy?"
Naruto nodded and pointed his right paw at the pond where his clothes were still floating in.
"Ah, Aoi the blue cat pond."
'The what?'
"One thousand ago, a blue cat named Aoi drowned in that very same pond you fell in young man. Now whoever falls in that pond, they are cursed of becoming a cat when dowsed with cold water…"
'WHAT?!!!' Naruto yowled.
"Yes all of these ponds are cursed my boy. They all have different kinds of creatures that drowned in these ponds one thousand or more years ago. So whoever falls in them, are cursed with the creature that fell in before them… Didn't I tell you these were special ponds?"
'S-So how long does th-the curse last?!'
"The curse lasts forever. You cannot get rid of it young man." The old lady replied. "Now let's go get your clothes shall we?" And she started to hobble over to Aoi's cursed pond where Naruto's clothes were located at. While the old lady was getting Naruto's clothes out the pond with her cane, Naruto had turned white and was petrified of shock. His eyes had turned white with black rings around them.
'Forever…?! It … Lasts… Forever…?' Naruto thought in shock. Naruto suddenly dropped on his cat knees and slammed his paws onto the ground.
'What am I going to do?! How am I going to train?! Most of all… WHAT AM I GOING TO EAT?!!' Naruto meowed as his paws suddenly unsheathed his claws and he started to rip at the grass with them.
"Settle down boy." The old lady said smacking Naruto in between his orange cat ears.
'OUCH! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!' Naruto hissed at the old lady, with his paws rubbing his newly acquired bump on his head.
"You're not gonna be a cat forever." The old lady said staring down at him with serious eyes.
'I'm… I'm not?'
"No! You just have the curse of turning INTO a cat, idiot! You can still be back in your human form too!"
'But how?'
"Remember when you fell in the pond? What did the water feel like?"
'It was cold.'
"Exactly. You can turn into Aoi's form when you are splashed with cold water. BUT, you can also turn back into your human self when you're splashed with hot or warm water."
'Really?! That's great! Thanks old lady!' Naruto smiled and was about to go when he got smacked again.
"Hold your horse's boy! I'm not finished speaking!" The old lady yelled at him angrily.
'Ouch… Hey what was that for Grandma…?' Naruto muttered. His eyes were swirling as another bump formed on his head and his new cat tail and butt sticking up as he was sort of unconscious.
"Here." She said simply.
Naruto snapped out of his unconsciousness and turned around on all fours to look at her. The old lady was holding out a light brown box with a strap hanging down the sides.
'What's that?' Naruto mewed.
"It's a box with your clothes inside of course. I fished it out of Aoi's cursed pond for you…" The old lady replied simply as if it was nothing. She set the box on the ground in front of Naruto, and he happily pounced on it. Naruto swatted the top off and franticly looked inside. Everything was there, including his forehead protector.
'Alright! Everything's here! Thanks Grandma for everything!' Naruto smiled widely. He turned his back against the box and grabbed strap with his teeth. The old lady helped secure it around his stomach so it could stay on him tight. She also put the box's lid back on so his belongings wouldn't fall out.
'Now back to the Leaf so I can go get Sakura heal me!" Naruto meowed and started to run really fast on all fours back to the Leaf Village.
"Have a safe voyage young one!" The old lady called after him.
And with that, Naruto in his new cursed cat form, bounded away into the deep forest back to the Village Hidden In The Leaves.
